About Rebecca

Rebecca Thorn is a Dublin based, amateur, designer publicly exhibiting her Garden Design skills for the first time at Bloom in The Park 2009. Rebecca has a Degree in Fine Art Sculpture from the University of Leeds and hopes to use her sculptural skills to create a solid and beautiful garden.

Her knowledge of Horticulture comes from a lifelong love of the outdoors and gardening and a strong interest in the conservation of Green Spaces. It is her interest in the conservation of Green Spaces that Rebecca hopes to pursue following Bloom 2009. Her plans include a possible return to study and also collaborations with Charities and non profit organisations to help them develop their Green Spaces to provide a natural sanctuary for those in need of a space to relax.
